A scary thing happenened on the way to the beer fridge today

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Reminds me of a company dinner I went to once in England. My doctor at the time had told me to limit myself to one beer per day. I had a pint at the dinner table and each time through the waiter would ask me if I wanted another pint. I politely explained each time he asked that my doctor limits me to one pint a day.

Finally, after three or four times asking, the waiter with British dignity told me "Excuse me sir, but I believe you had better find another doctor"

I took his advice, found another doctor and to this day ignore my physicians' advice about limiting my beer intake. And I've even since taken up the hobby of homebrewing.

It may not be good for my physical health but it does wonders for my mental health. CHEERS! Here's to another one.

Plug in the antenna and point it south east and you should get 6 channels

with a little adjusting to east south east you should get klwx .

Let us know how your "Redneck antenna" works out :worship:

Okay, but it may be a while. I threw the antenna together after we decided to "fire" the cable company. But I still have not gotten around to getting a tuner so I can test the antenna's effectiveness here. So far I am enjoying not having all those channels of nothing to watch. I still have an old antenna rotor, the romote control for it never worked, but it can be operated from the control box. I used that with an old yagi antenna when I had the 5'er in the woods of Tune Town, where I had the soupy "prize winning shop".

Yep ! Dumped the cable folks myself well over 2 years ago.

Running the house on 2 converter boxes and 2 redneck antennas. Get 12 channels crystal clear with my 3 dollar antennas.

Got a little digital ready LCD flat screen we take camping and at our spring gathering we were near Cincinatti and Dayton OH.
I just had to check out one of my little antennas. So just for grins I hooked it all up and got 31 channels.

Note: I had installed the reflectors and found them to be a detriment to the performance of my antennas and removed them. It may be a location thing so you might try with and without but most of the ones that the members of the Hoosier group have built we have later remover the reflectors.

As soon as you get your tuner or converter box go to antennaWeb.org to properly tune your redneck antenna. Then you can set down, drink some beer and watch free TV!!
