My name is Clint. I am an avid backpacker and tent camper. A new relationship has prompted me to look into getting a camper so she doesn't have to sleep on the ground. A co-worker sold me his second hand home built teardrop and I fell in love with them. I have been lurking here for a while and have really enjoyed following your builds.
A little about mine. It is 4'x8' and very primitive. It is made of treated plywood with aluminum siding and the top is the plastic bathroom wall material from the big orange store.
My plans are to start from scratch with the trailer frame and rebuild it entirely with a galley, windows, and doors on each side. I am thinking of using Pergo or real hardwood flooring on the interior and skinning the outside with aluminum. I have a lot more reading here to do before I decide.
