Well i got to camp next to Doug and the Sierra Nomad at the IRG, and I must say. Its a beautiful build every detail is really nice. Congrats my friend good job. I know I teased you a lot about it. but its a beauty. .

That was my practice one....took me a while to learn how to spell Kamp Inn. thanks for the compliments...always great camping with you....now go burn a tortilla, a deck...or a cigar...your choice. Doug

Here's the quilt. Easy to do as I couldn't cut up the fabric into smaller pieces or the Canned Hams etc...wouldn't be visible. Nice border on it, did miter the corners on it, flannel on the back...even has a 59 Rambler in the lineup on the border. The quilter did a great job on it, has all sorts of fun things quilted into the top. Bears, campfires, trees, canned hams and copy that reads I love canned hams, my trailer name and logo. It took a while to find it, but she always quilts in a small golden retreiver with her name, for the (camping buddy) dog that I had. It's bright, but then the colors in the early 60's were.

Also did a small pinstripe on the cooler and it's now in it's place, pretty good color match! Doug

I just spent the last couple of hours going through all 41 pages of this thread and all I can do is say one thing WOW!! I just bought a trailer frame from an old tent trailer last night and am putting together all my design thoughts. Due to a few constraints and prior promises to "she who must be obeyed" I won't get much done until spring but I will always remember the lessons learned here... It's all in the details. That TTT looks showroom quality. I hope I can come somewhere close to that. A truly amazing build

You can do it. Just take your time and think things out. And take NO SHORT CUTS.

After seeing Mike do up the magazine rack in his Cardinal...I had to finish up mine. Cooked up the design months ago, just didn't do it. The coral colored designs are on the curtains as well and is real typical of the period. They are drilled/routed out and backed with 1/8" ply for some dimension. Found an old magazine with an ad for a '59 Rambler in it. The thing isn't large enough to accept a Look magazine however, Still need to do up a mirror and want a shelf of some sorts. Doug
