Very nice attention to detail Sharon. It may seem like a lot of hassle at this point, but when it's all said and done...you won't be going back and thinking, "I wish I would have done this or that....." Worth it all in the long run...great job girl! Doug

Sharon it looks great, to sidestep replacement how about reinforcing it with say a piece of aluminum or steel (paint to match pound to fit). Not knowing how this all goes together/fitment non wood reinforcement might not be a bad idea.

Thanks for your thoughts, Shadow Catcher. Calculations are so tight that it would be 'iffy'. I don't believe there would be room to add anything except a new replacement piece of wood. Doing that is not a big deal as there are still tons of other things that can be worked on while the paint is drying. It just means we have to wait longer before we see it 'up'. We would have had to wait for that anyway as the hitch for my replacement tow vehicle has been on order and isn't installed yet. (The part came in today. I don't trust the trailer outside on my slanted driveway without the tow vehicle holding it back.)

Steve, you're right. It's just a little gnat in the big picture.
