Stainless Steel

Postby Mark72 » Mon Jan 10, 2011 9:03 pm

My brother and myself have ran across a deal on 4' wide stainless in 26ga polished on one side and mill on the other. It is #2 and has some dimples and streaks that show on the polished side. We are in the process of getting the spool up on a stand so it can be rolled off. $5 a lineal foot straight off of the roll.

being 26 ga it seems very workable. The roll is a 2000' long spool so it is not rolled too small a diameter.

this weights 3.02 lbs per foot so providing we can package it in small enough roll it will hit UPS's weight limit at about 20 feet in length by the time we pack it. Local pickup would be best.

Howdy neighbor,

Is that 3.02 lbs per lineal ft or sq ft?

Does the 26 ga measure around .0179 thick?

Hi Whitney, that is 3.02 lbs per lineal foot. I believe it mikes closer to .019
