Don't need to go to Germany. Boeing uses CNC almost exclusively.

However you still need manual skills to put it all together.

I've got it all figured out... :roll:

Already made one, now just have to make a bigger one ...

Now after seeing that Great Beastie' of a CNC machine (Amazing!!!) , putting together a couple slabs of foam is gonna' be EASY eh !!! Guess that's how the little guys do it ...

Exactly the point of my post. I retired out of the 'land of infinite resources' but have the knowledge base; you just adapt it to what you have available. While I may have tools and machines uncommon to an average workshop; I still have to adapt them to a lesser level of need (i.e.; forget about +/- 0.01 inch)

Any fairly flat surface will suffice for our needs; a bit of sheet plastic laid down to keep from gluing the structure to the floor, and we have a plan.

I noticed it mentioned that some were adhering the fabric with latex paint ... But Honestly , I think the T2 is a better alternative, and not subject to separation , unless it gets over 200 degrees F ...

T2 got a real testing here during Katrina... soaked for a month , exposed to all manner of nasty things ... no separation ... Good Stuff !!! :thumbsup:

Slicing foam is Much less messy than sawing ... Small bits of Foamdust seem to have a static charge and stick like mad to clothes, and you ...

Great for Indoor work !!! All Sanding should be done Outside ... Once it warms up ...
