One of the difficulties has been that as a Christian dealing with another Christian how do I deal with the biblical strictures in today's world.
Matt 18:15-17
15 "If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. 16 But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.' 17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector. NIV
This has to be taken in the historical and cultural context of the time where the courts were corrupt and the judges unbeleavers (this later more significant as it had much stronger implications than it does today).
How do you follow this when distance is involved and I do not know which church Eric attends...
I may try and find a Christian lawyer, there are Christian resolution services, and I do not want to do any more than I absolutely have to.

If that didn't work I would introduce him to something a lil meaner but I would atleast have my stuff or my money.
