Finished in 2009 2 years old today.

Full sized bed with pillowtop innerspring mattress
16 gallon fresh water tank - 16 gallon gray water tank
sink with antique hand pump
air conditioned
power converter 120V AC to 12V DC - AGM battery
Fantastic Fan
12V lighting - 120V for A/C, and outlets (when power is available)
closet for hanging clothes and other abundant storage; galley, under settee and under bed

6' 2.5" standing head room
Fits under a standard garage door
9" road clearance under the foot well when towing
12" wheels / tires
1425 # loaded weight
155# tongue weight

Entrance door ergonomically designed so no one bumps their head on entering or exiting. Guaranteed.

The Little Gypsy is a well thought out, carefully planned build of considerable quality. Just by looking at his build thread, Steve's building abilities and eye for artistry and beauty show through. It is my opinion that anyone who buys this trailer will be one lucky new owner! :yes:

Steve, on the other hand, is hopefully already planning for the enjoyment of yet another build and will have the room to build it! :thumbsup:

I look forward to the new build thread!

I find you to be totally awesome in many ways too and your knowledge and craftwomanship to be most excellent.

You're also correct about "planning for the enjoyment of yet another build" It's almost like you know me. With those clairvoyant abilities, perhaps it is you who needs a Gypsy Trailer.

I think I looked at all the photos but didn't see the sleeping area in the finished product. It is behind the curtain, is there a photo I missed. How much light do you get and how much headroom. Do you feel clostraphobic? Storage other than under the bed? And how hard is it to get to the under bed storage area?

The underbed storage is accessed by 2 doors, and the top is hinged so the bed can be lifted up for access. Full size bed, 2 reading lights, 3 windows, one is big ( that curtain was just there during the build) You were right about no pictures of the bedroom, turns out best picture angle was through the back window. Bed head room? Lots, can do many things but can't stand up in bed. Lots more headroom than a teardrop.

Storage besides under the bed. galley storage (see the photos of the hatches in the back of the counter top) Under seat storage, under the table storage and the closet.. all pictured in the build thread and the video. There is so much storage we have to be careful to not overload the trailer.

If you give me the asking price, I'd bring it to the Black Butte Lake Gathering May 20th and 21st in Nor Cal and you could camp in it those two days. In the meantime, I'll store it indoors before I come up. How does that sound?

It is tempting but I have to pass.
A beautiful thing like that needs to be stored inside.
It would be a crime to leave it outside for any length of time.
I am saving to buy a acre of land in Eastern Washington to camp on. Sagebrush country, no power or water. But cheap.

Well, thanks anyway. As far as storing inside, the gypsy trailer is durable and takes the weather well. I just keep it inside since I have room for it. Good luck with the land purchase

I just lowered the price on the title of the 1st page.

I've been spending more time in the gypsy trailer just in the driveway lately, using it as my office in the daytime. You know, I think I could live in here, it is set up for laptop use, I have TV software on my computer, and it plugs into the Sony stereo for excellent sound while watching TV, movies or all my favorite music I have stored. With my wifi, I can make free phone calls almost anywhere. I often make lunch in the trailer, and like old guys are prone to do, some days I stretch out on the very comfy bed and take a nap in the afternoon. If no one can buy the trailer. I won't feel too bad keeping it. Just won't be able to build another one yet.
