Yet he did have his limitations. Years earlier.. my wife had been having bad headaches. He said it was because she had been on the pill when she was younger and prescribed some pretty heavy narcotics. She found out she needed an adjustment in her neck.. one or two.. and she has been fine since.
None of the ones that I have like it when I have "suggestions". I had a family practitioner once tell me to stop reading about the medications and let her worry about it, because she is the one with the medical degree

I would have "fired" her on the spot!!! Yet in her / there defense .. there is much for bs on the internet.. [as well as good]... and they don't like dealing with all the misinformation and non educated people.... sometimes wisely.. but sometimes it is perhaps to cover up inadequacies of their own.
NO ONE is going to be more interested in your health.. than you!!
When I started..on this alternative road.. I did not have the internet to go to. it was books.. and while there is also a lot of BS out there in print also.. there is also a lot of good.
I remember.. mention a book to one of my earlier Doctor's.. He actually took it and read it. We talked about it. 20 years later I learned his conclusions were wrong.. but I was very impressed with his taking the time.. to listen to me.. to try and learn.
I wasn't getting that stuff from WebMD

Back then, that incident, I didn't even have internet. My pharmacist had given me some info about the med. It was inside the bag when I bought it. It probably did annoy her when I showed her this literature... Looking back, I hate that I annoyed her. She really cared and I liked her...her hubby made her close her practice and help him at his. She obeyed him as is her cultural beliefs to do so. She was really a good, caring doctor.
Do I research the internet? Sometimes and I know there is a lot of crap on there....but I do work in a bookstore. I do read books also.

There is also a lot of good info on the web if you look at legit places. For example, I joined a website for people with MS. I have read a lot there and found some helpful info
Oh, well, I wish I could stay. I got caught up emailing a friend....now I must go to work. You beautiful people have a great day
