CNY someday builder

Hi folks,
Northerner about to migrate down south to VA. Love all the builds and creativity y'all show, and the community spirit here. Probably going to be lurking awhile, have to deal with the move, but I've got a pretty well equipped woodworking shop, and my wife wants to start camping... so I'm thinking a Tear might just be a possibility!

It would be a great addition to the family if you're in VA. Welcome from Culpeper.

Welcome from Ashburn. I am also a Northerner in self-imposed exile.

This forum rocks. It's useless to resist TD's once you see all the builds and creativity on display here. :applause:

Hi folks,
been 'lurking' mostly, reading every build thread I can find, and am quickly becoming convinced I really Need to start my trailer fund. At this point I'm leaning heavily toward a Winter Warrior for the trailer... my wife and I have one camping age son left at home, so we've got to make allowances for him to tag along dontcha know...

Anyone have a link to the Design for a Winter Warrior handy? I've pulled a search, but didn't see one (though I have seen pics...

TIA

Might also be considering a small utility trailer conversion... at this point it is pretty much academic which I go with... have to save up a bit first.

New Job is going well... been criss crossing the state and even straying into a couple of neighboring states for good measure (NC, SC, TN & KY)...

Still have to get the household down here

Hey Ned,

After living in the Shenandoah for 20+ years, I can recommend it! We are in Staunton. Good place to be.

Let me know by PM if you'd like some local insight.

Well That didnt' work out as planned

Just to let any Central NY (Syracuse/Utica area) builder who would like a 2nd set of hands, I've got a pretty well equipped shop and would be happy to help with fabrication on your project. Mine is on indefinite hold still, but hey, that's just extended Teardrop Time. If you need some assistance just drop me a PM or an email.
