New Member in Reno, Nevada

Greetings!

My wife and I live in Reno and are "seasoned newbies" to the travel trailer world.

We refurbished a 1953 Owosso travel trailer (not tiny at all) but lost it in a freak accident. We recently restored and now love a 1964 Aloha travel trailer, 13-footer.

We're currently looking for our next one! I have my eye on a 1949 Crown, but the price isn't right yet. It's all original but in dreadful condition. It would be quite the project but still.......I just can't get her out of my head!!!

Looking forward to getting to know some of you better and definitely looking forward to all that I will learn.

Welcome Christian: I live in Reno also. I am building two TD trailers right now. It is nice to have you with us here on the forum. You will find a lot of people here willing to help with their thoughts on how to overcome any problems you will encounter. I know of about four other Reno/Tahoe area builds going on now.

I hope you have fun here.

Welcome Christian! I'm also a local, out in the Red Rock area. Good looking Aloha you have. May have even seen it sometime, looks familiar and there can't be too many of those around here. This is a great place with lots of fine folks, enjoy 8)

Hello from another Renoite Christian! We're building a Teardrop ourselves. As Johnny pointed out, great folks here on the board!

All the best,

Well you may be new to the forum but you are certainly well versed in these trailers. There are a few of us on this forum from northern Nevada. Welcome. Have a great time and we look forward to gaining from your expertise

Well it looks like Northern Nevada is well represented here. Welcome to the forum!

We're about 50 miles SE of Reno on HWY 50 (it's not the end of the earth, but you can see it from here...) and hoping the weather calms down pretty soon so I can get on with the build.
