I just got home from the having a couple of prescriptions filled at the VA hospital. The mood there was downright festive. :D

The folks down at the VA might be "festive" and you might be celebrating but the Marines of 3/5 aren't celebrating right now.

not releasing the photo because it might be used as a recruiting tool or it may inflame Muslim sentiments is BS.. if that's the case you do the operation, kill him, dump the body and never say a thing about it.. as far as I'm concerned the whole story is a BS attempt to prop up sagging poll numbers.. the non-reaction on the "Arab streets" tells me they think it's BS too..

While I disagree with celebrating death of anyone enemy or not, its a far better reaction than the troops received returning from Vietnam. Just sayin.

Half of the people that were openly celebrating on tv were not old enough in 01 to fully comprehend what was happening.

Not to put too fine a point on it, this stopped Usama bin Laden from planning or financing further attacks anywhere in the world against anybody in the world.
