Let me put it simply, I was one day away from the lawyer option. It is not complete but Eric had finished up most of the major things. Conversely there are a number of items I wanted to finish up, and will, that were originally on the list for them to do, this includes the shower and deck ports and wiring for the AC.
Problems, the wrong tongue box, if you look at the platform you will see that it was to fit a specific gigungus box, I picked that up today and took off the smaller one (If any one wants it...). The mattress is the wrong one double not queen, battery was not secured, brakes do not work no regulator for the propane no TV antenna.
Despite the problems, all fixable, it will be ready to go with in a week

I'll bet it's a relief just to have it, even if you have to finish the rest yourself. It is very, very beautiful and, hopefully, all the pleasure that you will have with it will make up for at least some of the headaches caused by the waiting, etc.

Quite simply, congratulations on finally receiving your new trailer. :applause:

One word WOW. She is a thing of beauty. I really like the basic shape and have been waiting to finally see it and I must say I truly admire your patience. IMO that is the nicest TD/TTT I've ever seen. It's sad that the builder couldn't stay in business because from what I can see they build an excellent product. For you , the great thing is that your trailer is a singular piece of beauty. They made it and broke the mold. There are no duplicates. Congratulations, I'm sure you're glad to have your hands on it finally. Go out there and enjoy it! :applause: :applause: :applause: Not sure I'll ever get to see it in person, but I hope for the day.

YOU GOT IT!

Postby mezmo » Sat May 14, 2011 1:06 am

Hi Shadow Catcher,

Great to see that you and the Missus finally have possession of your
Mega Mini! It's a sharp unit just as it stands.

I always thought that they had a great product from what their
web site showed. Too bad they weren't able to make a go of it.
It just shows you need more than just a good idea to make it
into a reality. The good thing is it's [I'd guess] @ 95+% completed
and you're able to finish it with out too much stress and strain -
at least compared to what you were putting up with on your long wait.

Once you're at your sweet spot with it finally - Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!

Cheers,
Norm/mezmo

There are certain indicators when I am really stressed (other than just being a PITA) and those were all there. So even with the need to finish and fix I am very pleased we have it and I can now plan. :)
I did ask Eric about the future and he evidently has some one interested in producing the MM, so there may be others some time down the road.

Beautiful camper! I have been silently following this thread for some time hoping things would work out for you. I stumbled on this site and thread while researching trailers that could be pulled by a Subaru Forester. Can you tell me what the anticipated total weight when loaded would be with something like your trailer. Thanks and good luck, Jim

Because it is an all aluminum frame we are looking at about 1250# depending on what we take (every thing). I will get it weighed some where along the line. It is a 10X6 excluding tongue box. that weight is exclusing water (14gal tank).
