Rear View Camera?

General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

Slow, I occasionally drive a truck that auto shifts between the top 2 gears. weird. But the driving I do I seldom get up to that speed anyway. I bet the camera US Express uses is pretty expensive, but who knows. And maybe they have it placed up high in the rear corner so they are looking down on something that is practically a 2D picture anyway. Down nearer to the pavement I would like a 3D image my eyes still make.

Exactly, cameras and GPS should be an add-on to an acquired skill, not a replacement of. I go to lunch sometimes with a really sweet, wonderful girl, but she can't drive. I mean she can, but she is just not very good at it, It is no slight to her personality at all, and she knows and accepts it. So I hope none of this ever puts your little lady in a bad light whatsoever

I have experienced a rear view camera on my neighborsAirstream trailer. He used it as an adjunct to mirrors. From my vantage point on the passenger side, it seemed like depth perception was pretty good. Camera bounce appeared to be minimal. Maybe it was the mounted location of the camera high up on the Airstream but it seemed to work pretty well.
