I was just thinking the same thing only 4 weekends between now and then to get some final touchups done

I'm just finishing up my A/C conversion. Gotta start putting the pennies away for the darn gas.

Thought I'd pass this little nugget along. Last week on his Facebook page, Bill Kerola (president of Serro Scotty Worldwide) mentioned he had just been in Florida checking out a prototype of a new Serro Scotty model coming out called the "Scotty Lite". Not many details other than it'll weigh in less than 1,000 lbs, BUT he did say that it'll be making its debut at the CRA!

I got my stemware rack and paper towel holder installed in the chuck wagon along with a couple dozen other improvments this weekend.

Set backs and progress all in the same week. I ordered my axles and hubs on day one of the build, must not have pressed enough buttons because the order didn't go in. A telephone call and now there on the way. The frame is partially built, the floor laid the walls up and the roof started. my hurricane hinge is to short, have to deal with that this week. I would post some build photos but i still have to research posting photos.
This is really going to be some event, a big THANK YOU to everyone involved in putting it on. I am thinking about booking a day earlyier just so i can see everything. Roger

I don't want to scare you but there were only 12 sites left in the entire 2 electric campgrounds as of yesterday. You had better book NOW !

The short hinge will be a leak concern but here is a way out of the problem......

I am looking forward to this. My dad has never been to anything like this before. He helped me build this trailer and I am hoping that he will be able to make it. I know he will enjoy talking to all of you guys and gals as much as I do !

I just e mailed the DNR to see if we can give us any info on the free park concert Sat. the 16th.
Trying to find out about the group or groups and the type of music. Hoping for return info soon......

Looks like Kurt and Dan will be TV stars. They will be on a local TV magazine scheduled to air on Thursday night July 14th on WTIU with teardrops and tiny trailers as the stars. Tapeing is already scheduled in 2 parts, an in studio interview, and an in parking lot shoot to follow. We are hoping to have a DVD copy to show before the Sat movie.

I will follow up with the TV stations and newspapers one more time about 7-10 days prior to the gathering. Sure would be nice to see a TV station do a modern version of "RV Crazy" at a gathering again !
