Thank you for all the lovely comments. It's been another very enjoyable build.
We've had a right busy weekend... The last few little bits on Wanda on Friday.... Then I started on the carport/ rose arch .
We had Warbird, Mrs Woman, and the Badgestars arrive Saturday luchtime.
Barry and Jeanette had come down to collect Wanda.... and amongst other things.... Warbird and Mrs Woman had brought them couple of presents, in the form of some custom steam punk koi cushions
The Badgestars got acquainted with Wanda
Enjoying the trolleytop porthole lighting
We had a few plumbing bits to do on Barry's Delica camper conversion.... Plumbed in the gas hob, and sink, and drilled the waste through the floor.
Then moved the trailers over for a last photo call on the drive...
Sunday lunchtime we had Wanda hooked up to the black van....
Wanda disappearing.....
I'd started on the carport/rose arch on Friday afternoon. making up the ply beams, and started on the stud wall that sits in front of the hedge.
This is how it looked on Friday night
With help from Geoff and Barry and Jeanette , We cracked on with it on Saturday afternoon. By Saturday night we'd finished the rear stud wall, and got the main beams up....
After the badgestars left on Sunday, We thought we'd give it a lick of fence paint to lessen the impact. It's kind of blending in
Great weekend... but very tiring
Hopefully I should get the carport finished this weekend.
I'm not sure when number 5 is going to start. We've got a lot of camping to do over the summer, and our 1964 VW camper may well be back from the welder/resto man in the next couple of months.
At least i'll have a dry area to store the camper, and build more trailers when the time comes
