General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

Postby JuneBug » Thu Jun 16, 2011 10:55 am

On a happier note, my town has an annual (30 years +) Spamarama festival in April to benefit a local non profit. There is a SPAM cookoff and SPAMalympics.

The word Spam for unwanted email is related to a totally insane 1970s Monty Python skit, which is worth a view... if you like Monty Python, that is.

The residents of the state of Hawaii and the territories of Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) consume the most Spam per capita in the United States. On average, each person on Guam consumes 16 tins of Spam each year and the numbers at least equal this in the CNMI. Guam, Hawaii, and Saipan, the CNMI's principal island, have the only McDonald's restaurants that feature Spam on the menu. In Hawaii, Burger King began serving Spam in 2007 on its menu to compete with the local McDonald's chains. In Hawaii, Spam is so popular it is sometimes dubbed "The Hawaiian Steak". One popular Spam dish in Hawaii is Spam musubi, where cooked Spam is combined with rice and nori seaweed and classified as onigiri.

Lots more interesting information about all things SPAMhere.

Just talk with little guy, and told them I did not want a port a pot, but one like the like the old one with a bathroom. While in a campground I could dump the the tank..... They said it could be put it at the time it was built... If more people ask for it... They would put it they standerd model :applause:

I have mixed feeling about whether a port o pot, or tank unit would be better. The tank that needs draining makes me nervous. I'm hoping to have some type of indoor "plumbing" on my next build.

As an owner of a Dutchmen T@B, I am happy to see Little Guy bring the T@Bs back. However, from the ones folks have seen so far, the biggest thing missing is the AWNING RAIL!!!! Also a decent Jockey wheel would be nice.

If anybody talks to them, please mention it!!.

Is there a web site to see these new T@B's? Couldn't find anything at golittleguy.com.

Here's an Oregon dealer advertising them. They seem spendy?
They are at the bottom of the ad.

This dealer always on the high side. Expect most dealers to advertise the T@B's around 14-16K

The e-mail I got from little guy said they would sell me one for $13,000
The dealers know there aren't many around and are gouging the marks.

5 years ago I could not pull in to a rest area without several people coming over to ask questions or just admire the tear. Today I only get the occasional curious person.

5 years ago people did not know the term "tear drop". Today people tell me about a show or article they saw on tears. They know the name.

5 years ago 5th wheelers envied me. Today they are joining us, along with others and the demand and prices are rising.
