Time saver or not enough power?

Any one ever use one of these, or similar, for there power setup? Seems like it would save a lot of time? Maybe money as well?

Power is fine capacity sucks......

The unit itsself will last about 5 months to a year and the batteries go south. My Black and decker one was the biggest waste of $125.00 ever spent. I would look elswhere for your portable power answer.

28 Amp Hours for 180 bucks! OUCH

You can get a 100 amp hour battery and an charger for less than that, and you'll have nearly four times the usage.

Bottom line for me is intended use: I will sleep in the trailer less than 10 nights a year. I don't really need a complex electrical arrangement. I use a Sears jump starter (with AGM batteries) to power a 12v light and fan via the cig lighter sockets

I know the aH to $ ratio isn't as good as a stand-alone battery but I like the portability: I can have a 12v source to run and test stuff anywhere and the jump start functionality. These 2 features extend the usefulness of this to year-round for me... battery and charger in the trailer would not have these alternate uses.
