Decision time..need advice

OK..Due to the size of the 78 micro tear, the galley will be only about 20" deep x 20" high x 41 inches wide, leaving room for a 10 inch(approx.) deep shelf in the cabin..OR, should I just make it all cabin shelf 30 inches deep x 41 wide with no galley :( ...I am leaning towards the smaller galley, it will still be big enough for a 2 burner propane and food storage,etc..Opinions??

Depends on your camping style,I know some that never do their own food prep.If you don't then more inside storage would be good.If you do cook at least having a place to set a cook top and some food/untensil storage is good.IMHO for resale value, a cook area is a vital concern.
My 2 cents worth just what you payed,I'm not an expert and I don't stay at Holiday Inn, I camp.

I vote for a usable galley. I don't cook in it but for prep and storage I really like it.

Gal-leeey, Gal-leeey, Gal-leeey !!!!

I have some shelves in my shop which are 30" deep. When I put them in, I thought...WOW, lots of storage. What a waste. Nothing really can be stored on them that couldn't be stored on 12 or 14" shelves. Everything I need is always BEHIND something I don't need. You won't be happy with a 30" shelf and no galley.

AGREED, go with the galley space...on our first tear, we had 24" deep cabinets and found that anything we put in them could have been in a cabinet half as deep(or less)...we took galley space for these cabinets and it was sorely missed...on the second tear, we maximized galley space and wish there had been even more available and we do virtually no prep/cooking in the galley, using an aux table for that and just storing "stuff" in the galley area..............
