I have some shelves in my shop which are 30" deep. When I put them in, I thought...WOW, lots of storage. What a waste. Nothing really can be stored on them that couldn't be stored on 12 or 14" shelves. Everything I need is always BEHIND something I don't need. You won't be happy with a 30" shelf and no galley.
