Well, when we tried it with the 12x12 Gazebo, yes it was tight. However, it was VERY nice. We normally use an EZ Up, but I wanted something with screen. My husband suggested the screen walls that you can purchase but I really didn't like that idea. Even though the 12x12 was "tight", we both really liked the feel of it (and my husband was definitely skeptical about it). To me, it felt like we were sitting on a porch...it kept off the light rain (same as the EZ Up) and it was a very cozy feeling. AND, I loved the way the teardrop looked in it (from the outside). Believe me...we are VERY proud of our teardrop and the "campground curb appeal" is the #1 priority to me (us).
So, yesterday I broke down and ordered a 17x15 screen room. I figure the only way I'll know for sure, is to try it. It was a good price and I figure if we don't like it for the teardrop, we can always use it over the picnic table. The only thing I don't like about it is the color. But I am a crafty person and if we like the gazebo itself, I'm sure I can find a way to fix that.
Anyway, this is the one I ordered and we go on a week long camping trip, next month. I will take pictures and let you know how it worked out.
