load up everything just to unload when we get to the campground Jackie and I
have experimented with backyard camping this last week.
Our lot is almost an acre and we have woods on the side and back and a privacy
fence on the other side so we decided to try backyard camping again. It has been
very hot here in Atlanta and we had a cool evening tonight. We cooked out and
even had s'mores for desert. Last Friday we slept in the T@B with the two Shi Tzus.
This "campground" is private and cheap and we enjoyed it as much as the two
campgrounds closest to us and we got great gas milage. We ran the Coolcat,
watched HD TV, and even used the Kurig coffee maker in the morning and connected
water for washing up.
While we are very familiar with the sights here we didn't get bored...but I must
admit I still miss the beach!
PS: MY wife says we should call it "yamping" for "yard camping"...I like that!
