Well the monday morning update is without pics. The camera is on the counter at home with my lunch
I am one tube of silicone and one window away from having the outside completely weatherproof.
Sunday was the big day this weekend for work. I spent saturday shopping for supplies and running errands.
Sunday at 8AM I was out the door and using my new sanding disc to shape the bottom "L" shaped trim pieces to fit the front and rear curve. I removed the center strip that was simply screwed down and sealed the edges with 100% clear silicone and reinstalled the 28 rosettes and screws.
I had split an aluminum trim strip from a storm door and cut it to fit front and rear. I had to use the heat gun to get the frp to make the sharp curve in the rear. The aluminum strips were screwed into the floor halo trapping the frp under it.
This whole list doesn't sound very impressive as I read it, but it was a good solid 5 hours of work!
I did drag out the scales and got the final weight of 525 pounds with bed and bedding installed. Tongue weight at level was 65 pounds. Thats a little over 12% tongue weight over total weight. I think one more good day of work and we are campable.
