It has been a while since I posted any more progress. I need to build the doors for all of the cabinets still. I need to finish off the hatch sides with trim. I will work on it from time to time this winter as I can and weather permitting. Terry and I have been enjoying the "Silver Nugget" the way it is for now. We have had it out camping at least a half a dozen times now. We went to a local KOA "kampground" last week end. It got down to freezing and we had to open the vent over night because it was too warm inside the TD. I was talking to a guy that had a 30' Airstream trailer and he couldn't believe that I built mine. He said it looked like it was a factory built unit. I assured him that it took a lot of time to build but it saved me a bunch of bucks doing it my self.
I will keep you up to date as I get more done on it. Keep tuned!!!
Cliff: Thank you for the nice words. I am very glad I found my wife. SHE is Great for me.
Mel: The memories are good and they keep getting better. Maybe next year we can go camping together when you get yours done. We can down a few brews too.
Tom: Pictures tell it all. I'm glad you got to camp in your TD.
Dave: It has been a lot of work, building this thing out side. Are you going camping next year??? We need to get out to Stampede next camping season.
Kirk: These things are a blast. You will have people asking a ton of questions about your TD.
Will: Thanks, I like how it turned out myself. It will be even better next year though when it is finished.
