I get the straight and plain idea ...if you had enough scrap lying around ....how about a TD profile table and a concave curved support??

The table would allow you to wobble past and the upswept support would allow for safer knee slapping.....

other than those two cent thoughts; Cheers - Nice build.

Some Saturday evening, with enough liquid motivation, I could see myself making a TD shaped table. Or, at least somewhat TD shaped. ;)

Calling Caseydog...come in CD....

I'm bumping your build threar back up to the top...cause...I have a guestion about your wiring...

I am using the same Marinco 15 amp 125 volt entrance device that you have, and I am using a 15 amp six-way, so that all 120v items will actually just plug-n-play...

What was your reasoning behind not just pluging your AC into the breaker protected six-way? The system can not handle more that 15 amps total anyway.

Steve, your description does not quite match my system -- I think.

What I did was permanently attach the three conductors of a three-way cord to the inside of the Marinco pass-thru. I have a powerstrip plugged into that, which is mounted in the galley. When I need AC, I plug that directly into the three-way, as shown in the picture below. I do the same with my heater, when it is needed. Other things get plugged into the power strip for convenience.

Yes, I understand what you have done.

My thought was to eliminate the three-way and tie the breaker protected six-way directly into the Marinco inlet. It just seems this will do the same thing, I will just have six outlets total vs your eight...

It was the gauge of the wire that made the difference. I wanted to plug my high-draw heater and AC unit into heavy-gauge cable. I have at least 12 gauge going from the campsite shore power to my heater or AC as I have it set up now.

Nothing new, except an umbrella thingy. I may have a picture.

If I do anything, it will be during the winter months, when it is bearable to work outside.

I finally found a "round tuit" laying around, so I could make this much needed little improvement.

I have always used a hardware box for my kitchenware storage, but always had to pull it out and set it on top of something to open it. There isn't always counter space free.

So, I put the storage box on drawer slides so I can pull it out, open and close it, and push it back.

I'll try to find another "round tuit" and photograph the umbrella mount.

CD,

Besides being a handy modification using the drawer slides, I like the idea of using the tray itself as a utensil tray!

Take care,
Tom

I used that in my LittleGuy, too. It keeps dust and dirt out, which is nice in the great outdoors, and also when my TD is stored in the garage.

Ever thought about building a drawer there? I just see alot of opportunity to use the rest of the space in the drawer hole. What you've got definitely works tho.

I have kicked around the idea of built-in drawers, but haven't been motivated to buy the stuff and build them. I'm more about camping than building.
