Thanks for your replies. Another question here...instead of replacing the brittle single-pane "house" glass with plexi, laminated, or tempered glass, would using the safety/security type window film on the single-pane be legal for motor vehicle use? I don't know the laws pertaining to it, but I don't wish to have a pane break and cut up anyone's tires. I think the window film would work, plus it is tinted and uv resistant, and a lot easier than replacing the standard glass. Has anyone done this?
