Hello All Form North Carolina

Postby JRAllen » Fri Oct 28, 2011 12:43 pm

Hello, my name is Jamie, i am a Policer here in Reidsville and these TearDrop trailers have really caught my eye. I have an old 4.5X8 trailer and its been sitting for years with no use. I think I have found a use. Some more reading and i think I might start this project.
Is there anyone out there near Reidsville NC. I would really like to see one of these in person and have someone local for advise.......

Thanks for having me\,

Hey Jamie,

Welcome to the T&TTT group, from the mountains of Western NC! There are several members in the Carolinas, so you will probably hear from someone closer than us, we're a little over 3 hours away from Reidsville, according to Google.

I would suggest keeping an eye out for the TD gatherings to see if one is local. Watch the T&TTT site, but check-out http://www.tearjerkers.net.

If you go to a TD gathering, you can see several different TD's at once, and it gives one a means to compare/contrast different sizes, features, etc. In the Spring there is usually a gathering at Raccoon Holler, NC. In December, there is usually a gathering in Myrtle Beach, SC. They have gatherings all over, but mostly during Spring/Summer/Fall.

Keep us posted!

Thanks Alfred, I have a daughter in her 3rd year just below you at Montreat. Beautiful country up there. I'll keep my eye out for the gatherings. I am hoping to get started on mine after Christmas. It's just going to be a simple camper to have a little fun in.......

Hey Jamie,

Montreat is a beautiful campus. We get over there from time to time, they have a great park, too. Let us know if you do get over this way, and keep us posted when you start your build.
