I can't wait to see the new build!!!
I hope it's documented as well...both your new one and your daughter's. It seems like there is a fair amount of rebuilding teardrops...if you built it yourself, lived with it, and learned from it, then there is probably a point where you say "I'm going to do this better" and tear it down and improve.
I'm not doing that with mine. It's pretty close to original, and who knows how many are in this condition anymore. But I respect what Jerry did with his second one...what a nice galley!! What an overall improvement!!
So I get it, it's just kinda sad. Maybe I'm just sad because I really need to get on selling my big trailer and it just kills me to think about it. But if I want my Grasshopper here, I've got to do it.
