Glad you got that fixed ... probably a bad spot in the wood of the first piece ... Are you putting a full length Keel on the bottom ... ? That would really tie the whole hull together ...
StandUpGuy- I won't be able to take it to the water until after it's covered. I don't think it will survive the car top trip. I'm really not too worried about the stability on the water. The boat is about the length of a canoe and a little wider.

Your foam project has me thinking about my strip built kayak project that never has gotten off the ground, I've been re-reading all my research material and thinking about making that the next project after I finish the Road Foamie. HMMM, Maybe I can incorporate foam and canvas building methods into it...
