Indeed, now that the trailer is towable and the exterior finished I am VERY interested to find out the weight. Will do that soon.
The trailer does pull very easily with my 4 cylinder car, but I haven't taken it on the freeway yet to feel the effect of drag since it does have a larger frontal area.

I jus remodeled/modified my teardrop and am itchin to find out how much it weighs NOW..was 785..Hmmmm...

A few pics as things are getting wrapped up.

The license plate mounted properly.

The knob is a dimmer on the LEDs that gives more options than off and super bright.

View towards the front (2 more cushions to assemble)

With a back cushion, this is a really nice lounge chair. This is a spare cushion I had sitting around, don't know if I would want to haul it around just for sitting.

At least with using the camper shell you don't have to worry about roof leaks.

I don't think it's going to be as heavy as some suggest, and I've never been wrong, badly mistaken perhaps, but not wrong.?.

Mine ended up being heavier than I would have liked, but 1000 lbs is still not as bad as a full size standy. I can't believe I'm typing this, but if / when there is a next one, I've got plenty of ideas for "trimmin' the fat".

Oh, and by the way, ..... your caulking's not dry yet :lol:

Why thank you! I've certainly been quite entertained and educated reading many other journals beginning to end! it's always fun to see the problem solving and techniques used by fellow builders!

Got the cushions done!
Storage or sitting.

Nice big bed, 69" x 76", nearly King sized!

Makeshift table for drinks or cards. I may put formica or something on the bottom of one cushion just for that purpose.

Ahhhh yes, so comfy! Plenty of room for the wife, dog and myself!

Purty clever how you put the backer boards in the cushions so you could span the gap betwixt the edge seats. Was wondering about that.

Also, it's MUCH easier to wrap the wood / cushions with fabric and just staple the back than to sew covers for cushions.

"I" knew you would come up with sumthin clever fer the center cusions ! Definitely put sumthin on the bottom fer a table top...Yer GOOD !

Edit... as one lazy guy to another... ain't NUTHIN bad with bein lazy.. makes ya MORE creative !
