I gotta tell you G, I had come to the point that I was just going to cross HF of my list for anything because of this. I may still. You were way more persistant than I would have been. Glad you got it though.

Well, It WAS a rather Loooong wait ... :roll:
Now I’m guessing if you’re having any problems , go talk directly to the manager ... Don’t bother with the Idiots on the floor ...
I did ask the manager why they didn’t stock them.. He said they sold a lot of them after Katrina, but lately people were complaining that they had to assemble it themselves... Duh !!! ( I thought that was the Fun part ? ) He also told me they’d sell every one they’d assemble for display ... but that was a problem , because they’re not certified as a "trailer dealer" ... which sounds suspiciously like government intervention ... :o Somebody lobbied DOT to shut HF out the trailer business... typical ... we do have the best government money Can buy !!! :twisted:

He did tell me that if I needed anything , they could special order it ... ship it to the store for pick up... good to know that for future reference !!! ;)

WONDERFUL!

As for me, I think that HF had the correct response. It took a few weeks, but they got new people in theri. Seems like they do care. As for the selling trailer as opposed to trailer parts, I would guess that is just how the law is written long ago.

But congradulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wrangled the two HEAVY boxes out the back of the pickup... had to rest after that ... :o But got them inside , and looks like today we start the assembly ... Haven’t opened the boxes yet , but hope there is some kind of instructions inside ... Having never assembled one , it can’t be that complicated .... (Famous last words) ... :roll: I’ll get some pics as it goes along ... Probably not necessary as everyone else has already done this already ... ;)
Feeling Lucky , since I was able to get it in the first place... maybe the build will go smoothly ... I hope ... :o

I am very happy for you :clapping hands: and am glad that HF came through. :beautiful: I still haven't got the funds to start my build so, I am very interested in seeing the trailer being put together.

I did open the boxes and fish out the directions ... which reminds me of putting together a swing set from Sears ... :? All the parts seem to be there ... :thumbsup:

Verna , I think you’re right ... HF Needs to see the pics .... Maybe that will inspire them to actually stock the trailers ... :roll:

I checked the date code on the tires (3311) so I think I have Fresh Chinese tires anyway ... 8)
