Selling my unfinished Teardrop

Have a teardrop or a trailer for sale? Need one? Post here...

WOW, according to the ebay info, the buyer is from Fresno California. I wonder what it is going to cost to get the little tear all the way out there.... that is if that's where it's going.

Well, I'm kinda depressed and I'm kinda not depressed. On the one hand, I'm gonna be really sad to see this go because I have been lookind forward to camping in it for SOOO long. I had such hopes.

But, on the other hand, I know that I can build another one that will be better and it will build easier and faster because I won't have to relearn. And, I figure that anyone that is willing to go to the expense of getting all the way to California, is going to take care of it and do a really good job finishing it. I have to say that, when you've got a project that you can't get to, and you're looking at your future and you know that you won't be able to get to it for probably a good three more years, it tends to follow you around and nag at you like a darned lost dog. So this way, I will be able to clear my mind over it and look forward to just starting anew down the road.
I am NOT a complete idiot! Some of the pieces are missing.

 I wonder if it's Mikeestep. He's a new member and lives in Fresno and was looking for a project. Below is a quote I took from the newbee's section.

I have a passion for tear drops and have been lurking here for sometime. I have been looking for a tear drop in the 1000-1500 dollar range with a galley. I want something that is a bit of a project and will allow me to put my own touches on it. I wouldn't mind building one on my own, but I want someone with experience to help and can pay for educating me on how to go about. I don't think there is anyone from this area, but wouldn't mind seeing some in person. I am into desert racing, and co drive.

Hey all, I was the winning bidder. I'm excited to be able to finish it. I have family 5 hours away that is going to pick it up and store it till i am able to pick it up. I am in California. It will be my first teardrop. I'm 20 years old and I was at a wedding and my mom won it for me. I'll start a build thread for it soon.

I will SOOO take you up on that offer.

And seriously, anything I can do to help you move the project along, I will help in anyway. I'll PM you and we can swap phone numbers and such.

What a great matchup between you two guys. I think this teardrop is going to a good home so David can feel good about the sale and gets his start on a teardrop adventure. Win-win,gotta love this forum.

I agree, this is what the forum is all about. This is a thread to remind us how all of us working together brings about great things.

David...sorry to hear of your situation, but I'm sure you'll make the best of it....It was nice to talk with you back in '04 when you were building your boat and your trailer. Are you still active on the Glen-L forum?...I rarely go over there but do respond to questions...I got hooked on the trailer thing. Here's wishing you all the best in the future. I'm sure you'll be a success. Doug
