That's pretty much what I do also. At least it has an alarm. It may not stop them but hopefully it will make enough noise for a fellow camper to take notice.

Dale they do make sturdier versions of this type safe also. But they cost more. There should be a level that even your 10 year old Grand daughter could not bust into.

The only thing that will stop anyone from stealing is not finding it. If a thief wants in, they will get in and it only takes seconds to get into a trailer/car/fire safe/etc.
