On ebay now!
My prediction is over $100.00
Anyone care to make a guess?

A lot more than I'm willing to pay. I think I can get new ones cast for maybe $35 a pair. Then you'll require a couple of bolts, a couple pieces of 1" wood dowels, a couple of push clips, and a couple of riviets. Drill 6 holes, tap two hole in the molds, drill and counter bore holes in the wooden handles and yer good to go.
Then you'll have a genuine "reproduction" waffle dog iron that is !% smaller than the original.
I'll drive into the valley next week and get a quote from a local foundry.
I have about ten lanterns. I'll dig out a checkbook this weekend and sign up for IRG. We've gone to paying for virtually everything with online banking and credit cards. Not sure where the real checkbook is, ha.
Stay tuned.
Gus
Cheers,
Gus
