Need Checks?

Postby WhitneyK » Wed Jan 18, 2012 9:47 pm

Ya, I know, who writes checks anymore?

We were needing to order new checks and my wife found these cool looking vintage camper checks and address labels. In case the links don't work, the name of the company is Current, it's listed under cool checks; vintage trailer.

Check it out, one of 'em's a teardrop.....

And there is a VW Bus on one. The last my VW Buses left today.

It was time to let them go to a home that will fix them up.

I know the feeling...my Aristocrat is very close to going.

Somehow I feel like I failed. I didn't fix her up like I intended. But that wasn't entirely my fault...dang injury messed things up.

I'll just work on details on the Grasshopper...much easier to handle, anyway!

I am just telling myself that I am converting them into Colemans and a computer.

Funny you should mention checks or cheques for our canadian friends
My local power company charges $2.50 to pay online or over the phone but nothing for check payments
doesn't make sense it takes longer for someone to open read and post a check than it would for me to do it online.

like the man says "oh well here's your sign"..........

:laughter:

One of them was a 1974 Westfala camper that I drove from about 1988 to 94. It was a great vehicle and I had many adventures in it. But I far to often went places that I really should be in a 4x4 so I built my TD instead of fixing it up. Now I go 4x4 with trailer in tow. Not sure if I improved much on my nuttiness. But then hey. I would not have met this group of people. Be spending my money on cast iron and Colemans.
