I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate around this forum and post pics, etc. I've been a member since August 2011, but didn't get my build/refurbishment done until late September. I've used my TD twice since then and WOW, why didn't I do this sooner.

My New Year's resolution for 2012 is to make some D gatherings and get to know you fine folks. Being in Reno puts me right in the epicenter of the Nevada, Nor-Cal and Jefferson Chapters and I plan to make some rounds.

Hello again Shane: Welcome to the forum. Good to see you here. Glad to hear you will be going all out next year and camping at as many places you can. We might meet up with you at one of your outings.

Dave McCam and you should go to the "Dam Gathering" in early May this coming spring up at Shasta CA. My wife and I went there last year even though my TD was not finished then. We already have our reservations for 2012. See you both there...

I have the Dam Gathering dates blocked off on my calendar and I definitely plan to be there.

Dave, how far along are you and when do you anticipate being done? I'd love to stop by your shop sometime to see the progress.

Hi Shane, We plan on finishing her in the next few months if at all possible. Health issues have had the brakes on for me for the last 2 months but I'm now feeling a lot better. I'd really like to make it to the Dam Gathering towing the Travelear.

Hi Shane, welcome to the forum. I look forward to meeting you at the Damned gathering, oops, Dam Gathering. I'll be the oldest, rudest, baldest and unusual mustached one there. Just look for the shortest, narrowest, lightest and dumbest teardrop trailer in the campground and stop by for a cup of coffee. We're kind of friendly, as you will soon find out. Most everybody within driving distance attends this one, so don't let us down, see ya there.

Hi Shane, Welcome to this shared addiction. It looks like this group of Northern Nevada Teardroppers keeps growing. I'm in the middle of my build but am under temporary suspension as I heal from shoulder surgery. I wish I could say that I will be done and make it to the Dam Gathering, but that's not too likely. I think I've still got about 2 months of recovery and physical therapy before I can resume the build. I've set it in my sights for 2013.
