There are lottsa issues that need to be sorted out. The issue of "internet neutrality" is, IMHO, really two separate issues. The first is the deliberate steering of traffic to specific sites while ignoring other sites that should be included in search results. The second is the issue of bandwidth usage. Why should someone downloading a few pages a day pay just as much as a user using a thousand times the bandwidth. This has been addressed, as I understand it, in the mobile arena but not in the land bases systems of internet access.
Although I understand some of the concerns regarding the currently proposed legislation, I haven't seen anyone stating exactly how the current situation should be modified.
I do agree with the US getting Megauploads off the air as it was clearly a vehicle for the illegal sharing of copywrite protected material. If one reads the indictment there is only one reasonable conclusion.
