New from PA

This is a great forum. I've enjoyed reading the posts for quite a while, so it seemed appropriate to register as a member. A few years ago, a couple pulled into the campsite beside us in their new Camp Inn: They were returning home from factory on their maiden voyage. I've been reading everything I can about teardrop trailers ever since. Currently, we have a 26' travel trailer, however, between rising gas prices and not wanting to haul such a large trailer as we get older, we may seriously consider downsizing in a few years. I look forward to getting to know you.

Welcome to the fun Al. You found the best resource on the net for these funny little things we sleep in.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Kerry and Zach, we're almost neighbors: I live between Gifford Pinchot State Park and Ski Roundtop (northern York County).

I was supposed to be going up to Roundtop tonight, but my buddy had to work late. Will probably be up there tomorrow. Gotta get as much boarding in before it gets up close to 70 degrees later this week! If you're interested in checking out a couple local teardrops, I know Kerry would be happy to show you his Cubby. Mine should be finished here soon too.

Zach, even though I only live a mile away, I haven't ridden at Roundtop for quite a few years. My knees just can't take it anymore. My daughters and I spent a lot of time there until they got too daring for the old man. My younger daughter has been an avid snowboarder for 15 years.

Kerry, I checked out your build pictures. You did a great job. Currently, I'm in the early stages of a total kitchen renovation. When I get this monkey off my back, I may take you up on your offer to see your TD in person. I'm really concentrating on getting the kitchen done before spring fever and the camping bug get the best of me.
