Oops!!! Skipped this step... from NJ (pics)

Hi all,
Been lurking... and posting  for a while now, but never really introduced myself. I'm Evan, from New Jersey. I grew up in Colorado, so camping is in my blood. Now I teach physics at a public high school and sneak away for the weekend when I can.

I have got the teardrop bug BAD. It started when I sold my old Bronco and realized immediately that I'd just made it much harder for myself to camp. It used to be that I just had all my tent camping gear in the car ALL the time, so when the mood took me, I loaded the cooler and I went. New car (2012 Focus) is MUCH smaller, so that's no longer an option... EUREKA! Tiny Camper!

Plans are for a 5x10 teardrop light enough to tow with the wimpy focus, but spacious and well-appointed enough for me, the fiancée, and (most importantly) the dogs. I want electricity and brakes, but no real luxuries (AC, fridge, microwave, tv, etc.). I'll build the infrastructure for these into the trailer just in case I sell it though. I can't start building until we move somewhere with more build space (oh, and get married), so for now I'm doing as much planning and design work as I can to save the headaches later on.

I really appreciate all the help I've received here already in the design stages of the project. I can tell y'all are a great bunch of people and I can't wait to get to know each of you more as the sawdust and ideas start to fly. In the meantime, here are some pics to familiarize you with me and my project, "The Blue Oval." Sorry if the pics are big, you may have to zoom out. I'm a little new at this.

Thanks again for all the help so far! Hope I'll be starting my build thread soon, and in the meantime there will be lots of questions I'm sure.

See y'all down the road!

I really like the profile, and as a Ford fan, I really like the color and graphics.

How old was the Bronco, I have some of the "Early" ones, plus some other old Fords. New Jersey isn't too far away for you to come to Tearup the ADK at Fish Creek in June. Lots of teardrops to look at there. Bob

The last couple years we've had a gathering in Swartswood State Park, up in Newton. Not far at all for you guys. I work just a hop skip and a jump from you, here in Paterson, and live up in Sussex County by the Mountain Creek.

The Bronco was a '94 and not the finest example of the breed. I loved it, but it just didn't make any sense as a daily driver here in north jersey. Don't worry though, it's still in the family.

You're right, that's not far. We may just have to check it out!
