Shelving on the OUTSIDE of the tear drop. After you get to camp just plug in the hangers palce the shelves and Bam, you have a lot more room. I put the rails on both sides of the tear so I could have more options.

Store your (inevitable) grocery bags in a tissue box. Flat or boutique box. Whatever fits.

Hole in the floor

I have a deep foot well that was possible as my trailer is higher than most for rough road. Also makes possible for several different ways to have seating inside. Then a hatch in the bottom of the foot well and I can stand up.

Wolffarmer, those wheels look identical to those on my '79 VW Rabbit. Did you use the hubs with the brake assemblies? If you did I've always thought it would be cool to hook up the emergency brake and use it.

I used the rear axle, springs and wheels from a VW Rabbit pickup. Those long springs make for a very nice ride. Just wished I had incorporated shocks. I took the break backing plates right off. I also use a Rabbit jack for one of my leveling jacks. I wish I could get my hands on some more. They make great leveling jacks and I am starting on trailer #2.

Here are pictures of my bumper up with tail lights, and the bumper down so you don't bang your shins on it when using the galley.

Don't worry slow. I am not that thinned skinned. If I was I would post no pics of my fatness.

And I have heard the Fred Flinstone before. But it hole works for me and I will put it in #2. I have the axles and most of the iron for it and the weather is warming up so I am running out of excuses to not be working on it.
