Wow I think that last picture is the best one yet looks so inviting as for the generator if you got one of the more expensive ones then you'd have to repaint your trailer
your doing a great job on this trailer
as for the single just post a sign outside of the trailer...be careful if your going to a gathering someone else might do it for you

As for the sign... Thats certainly a possibility considering some of the other shenanigans that happen at the TJ's Chesapeake Bay gatherings!

Well I went to the transfer station at lunch today, to get the X-II weighed. Its a hefty little sucker!! With the mattress and battery, it weighs.......


Drum roll please....




1100 lbs



So, I can load it with up to 620 lbs of gear without going over the trailer's GVWR of 1720lb.

Good thing my Subie is a beast so I can pull this little tank.

I was kind of dreading getting this one weighed. I was guessing around 900lbs. Guess I was a little bit off.

I never got my first convertible weighed after its completion. I did estimate the weight based on the wood volume data that I took from the CAD model. Adding that to the trailer weight, door weight, etc, I estimated around 700-800 lbs. And now that I know how much this new one weighs, I believe that estimate was probably pretty close.
