Registering homemade Teardrop in PA

Hi everybody! I am on an extended road trip and thinking about buying a homemade Teardrop in Colorado. My permanent address is in PA and apparently PA is a real pain about registering homemade trailers. They require an inspection and I wasn't planning on driving back east anytime soon (been in NM for the winter, heading to Alaska for the summer). Has anybody dealt with this kind of situation? Any suggestions? Being a nomad is inconvenient at times... Thanks! TBC

Register it in Maine by mail. It's really as easy as pie.
