How to fill holes?

Postby les45 » Wed Apr 11, 2012 2:59 pm

I've got a bunch of screw holes and all the break lines on my weekender to fill and sand smooth before painting. I plan to use CPES as a base and an epoxy boat paint for a topcoat. What is the best material to use to fill the small holes and other voids before I start the paint system?

One of the most accessible, and quick products would be Bondo. You can get it in quarts at Walmart. It hardens quickly and isn't too hard to sand.

I used the same thing as planovet.

I used saw dust mixed with Tight Bond.
