Now there's an idea. I wonder why it's never come up on this board before, to just take the bottom part of a pop-up, take off the canvas part and build up from there. Old pop ups can be had around here all the time for a few hundred dollars.

Becky: I think the majority of cheap pop-ups have too many issues on the lower half to use. The one I got had one corner that was all rot. Then again, for a few dollars more, you can get a more solid pop-up that would offer a good solid foundation. It is an interesting trailer, but a little over the top for my taste. It seems you could use the pop-up foundation and create something a little more conventional looking.
