It looks like a bunch of people looked at this but did not comment, Is this not a good trailer to build a camper on? I am a newbie so I have no idea. I am going to go look at it today
There may be a lot of hesitation, as teardrops are the main focus here, and that setup instantly throws up a roadblock because the fenders are in the way of a typical teardrop door(s).
Having tandem axles is a bit overkill, but it has been done.
With the look you have now, a low swoopy shape to compliment the fenders would look really good, but probably wouldn't look like a typical teardrop.
If you were thinking about buying the trailer and tossing the fenders and extra axle, it would be okay for a typical teardrop, but you may be better off in the long run to have a custom frame built to suit your plans/size, instead of the other way around.
It can get expensive very quickly trying to modify a frame to fit a trailer.

Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...
