While I do not drink coffee, been thinking about a Kuerig for teh hot choco and cider aspect.

Do you have one and is it a good investment.

That depends on how much you drink? If you want one or 2 cups then they are great. I have a Tossimo and love being able to make a cup of coffee anytime I want in just a minute or so. (Tossimo lost the coffee wars, and Kuerig is the one with the best selection. They work pretty much the same way.) My wife likes chai tea and we both do hot coco. We will probalby be buying a Kuerig soon as it is getting hard to find the T-cups around here.

I think they are a great investement. Now, if you sit down and drink a pot of coffee in the morning then a normal coffee maker is the way to go.

I don't drink coffee but Sheri does and we were talking about buying one for the tear and while out visiting my mom in Texas, she gave us hers. She found another kind that was cheaper and on clearance. We have gone to walfart and found coffee reasonably priced.

My mom likes her as she can buy coffee, hot coco and apple cider so all her grandkids get a choice. (Naw she doesn't spoil em).
But she bought a regular pot for when my husband comes over so she can make multiple cups.(she doesn't spoil him either)

Our Kuerig machine was a gift, I might not have purchased one on our own... but now that we have it I love it. The coffee is a little more expensive.. although if you shop around you can get better pricing. I like the ability to mix it up.. trying different coffees. Or if I was this flavor, and my bride wants that one.. no problem. Our previous machines did not brew the coffee hot enough for me. I also like the ability to do tea. In this case I just use it as a speedy way to make a cup of hot water.. and use regular tea bags.

X2. We have one in the camper too but it has kind of been replaced by Starbucks Via. The home Keurig gets a least a couple of cups run through it a day and has been running strong now for 3 years.

Mary drinks coffee but I don't. She loves her Kuerig, hers is the one with the water reservoir on the side. If you get one be sure to register it for the warranty. We have had two of them start to leak water from somewhere up inside it. Both times she called them, and all we had to do was send back the K-cup holder and they sent us a whole new machine. Sometimes Kuerig has a good deal on the K-cups with free shipping, our local ACE hardware store is reasonably priced, and Dunkin Donuts sells K-cups of their own brand coffee in them. We also have the model that you dump water in each time, and that one is used in either of our campers when we have electric hookup. Bob

expect the price and styles of these machines to come down and become more varied. the patent on the single serving machine cup is about to expire. Green Mountain Coffe's owner had it, but his stock took a major hit this spring (50%) due to the patent expiration. he had to sell a couple of jets, and his FBO in Burlington, Vt laid off a bunch of people, as he can't subsidize the company anymore. While I don't like coffe the FBO has free Keurig machines all over the building, and I really like the cider.
