The horse is beautiful but I don't understand the title. I'm guessing it's an "ink blot" thing and I'm missing it. I don't see the horse "ink blot" in the horse's markings. I see a man running. :D

This is like looking at the clouds....I see a Scottie dog running down the horse's side.....a horse's skeleton head....a cow's skeleton head.....an eagle flying on his hip.....a happy Poodle puppy.....it's all in the imagination of the see-er :D

It spells out horse. The white patches aren't shapes but letters..

Took me a while to get it.

I saw this once before on a large dark brown dog. I asked the owner if it was painted on dome how and he told he treated the dogs skin with some kind of chemical that caused the hair to grow out white. Not sure if that was a true report, but it's the story he gave me.

Verna, what are you sipping?! Ha!

It's Lovely that you have that active of an imagination!

Once it's pointed out, the letters are readable but very ragged in shape,
but not any worse than some graphics on some posters I've seen.

One hint that is easy to miss is that the title says " 'horse' on horse' ",
not "a horse on a horse". Sometimes ya just got to just see the literal !

Cheers,
Norm/mezmo

'horse' on horse

Postby Verna » Fri May 18, 2012 6:14 am

No, Norm, I wasn't sippin'!!!! I was looking for a horse, not looking for horse....just as you said!

Even my no-nonsense father has always played the game of "what shapes do you see in the clouds" while we were on vacation. It's fun, and yes, you can really see who has an imagination!

Thanks--I think having an imagination lets us get through the rough patches in life a bit easier....and makes for a lot of laughs, too.

I am glad someone explained it. I looked for a long time trying to see a horse.
That is a beautiful animal however.
