I've been lurking here way too long and decided it's time to join in the fun!
A few considerations in my design include:
-simple, quick build. (not such a mechanical and technical guy...)
-must be able to haul my 13 foot Huron Wood and Fiberglass Canoe without blocking any entryway or galley doors.
-maximum internal storage and living space. I do a lot of boondocking, stealth, and Walmart/truck stop camping; therfore a galley, however incredible and awesome they are, was not in the cards for me as I need to be able to access and prepare food without standing in the parking lot getting strange looks.
-great insulation for winter camping and noise reduction.
-a big plus I hadnt considered originally was the square top allows for a Shadyboy awning system to be mounted level and high enough to be usable.
-of course I can't deny the 'cuteness' of a traditional teardrop design so I added some paint in an attempt to add some style.

Looking forward to many great conversations with you folk's!!
