I'm on vacation next so it will be time to get to work.

Thanks for looking and thanks for any suggestions.

Scott,
Couldn't you have bought a wheel to fit your original jack? I found one for mine at my local trailer supply store. Granted it isn't a great fit to the jack but it works.

Don,
I could have swapped out the sand pad for a wheel on the factory jack, but I think I really need both. We have a 2 and a half car garage with a 2 car wide garage door. One of the requirements of me getting a trailer was that both vehicles still had to fit in the garage along with the trailer. In order to get the trailer into the "half portion" of the garage it took me about 15 minutes of manually jockeying it into place similar to parallel parking into a really tight spot. I would extend the wheel jack to move the trailer, then retract it and extend the sand pad to temporarily park it while I walked to the back of the trailer to check clearances. I kept repeating this process until it was where I wanted it. When the wheel jack was extended the trailer would move on its own if I was not physically holding it in place. Good thing I don't have to move it very frequently.

That makes sense and you made the right choice. It's interesting how we all have our quirks with regards to our CT's, be it storing it, towing it, camping in it, etc. That's what is so great about this forum, so many ideas shared allowing us to pick and choose those that might work for us and our individual situations.
This might be of interest to you:http://www.harborfreight.com/heavy-duty-trailer-dolly-37510.html I bought one for ease of moving both my CT and my 16.5' Jayco TT. We keep our Jayco (when not in use) at a rented covered storage facility. I am absolutely horrible about backing up with a trailer, any trailer, especially into tight spaces. Our rented storage facility is fairly tight so I get the Jayco as close as I can then unhook it and use the trailer dolly to get it in to perfect position. It is far easier to roll the trailer around with the bigger wheels of the dolly than the little jack wheel, and when you think you're close you can park it on the jack foot and go check (thanks to the long tiller type handle of the dolly it is easy to cam it up to move the trailer then cam it down to park on the jack foot). The price is reasonable and the convenience is great.
