Thanks for asking the pups are doing great my male is just over 85 pounds and my female is 50 pounds weighed them the other day...We have been trying new things our newest was going for a short little boat ride on a very calm lake He seemed to like it her not so much but we are working on it as for now the have been super helpful been landscaping the back yard and they dig where and when I tell them to. So glad I got 2 of them the can entertain each other when I'm busy I'll try and post some new pictures when I get a chance

Actually no I haven't modeled this after anything. My designs just pop out of my head focusing on best weight and space utilization. Out is a cool design indeed.

Hi Steve/linuxmanxxx,

Just some minor devil's-advocating here: Will the cabin of
your new idea -PU camper + flatbed trailer = toyhauler - be
accessible with the 'toys' loaded? I'm wondering if the door
would be blocked by them? causing a big PITA type problem
for use. Since you're trying to utilize the PU camper in
another application with this, maybe trying for some kind
of side sliding door would be possible - that might help too
with a trailer hitched behind the PU camper mounted on the
truck bed. My thought is, that one benefit of taking your
own shelter along is the possibility of including your own
'facilities' that you can use anytime you need to and not
have to wait for a rest stop or other public facility.

Cheers,
Norm/mezmo

Steve , you know I can’t help myself when it comes to Drawing .... so FWIW , here’s some mods to your basic design .... “Party Barge” ... Front rounded decorative handrails (like on a boat ) give the rounded appearance with the straight roof .. Luggage carrier behind the AC so it would draft in the AC profile .... decorative handrails /railings for a patio like effect , if you’ve had a few to many , you won’t fall overboard ... :o Mosquito netting hung from the framework (it IS Texas)
Couple folding chairs and TV trays , and a Big ole’ cooler ... it’s Party Time !!!

Apparently, that smelly stuff is "perfume to gearheads". I was talking to a co-worker about his toyhauler once and I asked him about the smell of the bike while trying to eat and sleep. That was his quote  :o :? ewwww...

But I agree with you. There are a few models of RV out there that have that porch/toy deck function and I think that it's a great idea!
